Nvidia GeForce2 MX is not supported – but it’s still possible to get the game running on it, although we don’t recommend that from today’s point of view.

Please note, that while you will be able to play The Battle for Middle-earth with the specifications above, play experience will benefit from additional RAM, better CPU and/or a better video card plus its latest driver.

The Battle for Middle-earth requires DirectX 9.0b. To install DirectX 9.0b or later, visit:https://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx. It’s also available on the install disc of BfME.

Service Pack 2 and 3 for XP already include DirectX 9.0c and Vista includes DirextX 10. If you own them, you won’t have to install DirectX in order to play BfME.
